CANNESERIES Institute returns from March 27th to May 1st, 2020
For its third edition, this English-language programme will bring together eight young professional screenwriters selected using a European network of specialised schools. They will benefit from the support of international specialists in writing and series production, will experiment with collaborative writing in Writer's room, will benefit from individualized follow-up and will attend the masterclasses of Canal+'s professional teams (Création Originale, Studio+, Studiocanal). Each participant will produce a pre-bible and the pilot of a series (in short format) on a theme submitted upstream by Canal+.
This year, CANNESERIES Institute will have as its theme:
"FEMALE - MALE. Imagine a series in the genre you prefer. Maximum format of 15 minutes per episode."
For the City of Cannes and the Côte d'Azur University, this offer of residency foreshadows the training program in writing and content creation that will soon be implemented on the Cannes University campus. For Vivendi and Canal+, this involvement reflects their desire to bring out the future talents of global creative talent.
